Native Circle News

The Native Circle of Newaygo County is a non profit group formed in 2012 to promote the history and contributions of the Native American population of the region, both today and yesterday. The group meets regularly to discuss a variety of issues, are regular volunteers at the Museum. The group is currently working on revising the content and layout of the Native American area of NCMHC. Planning for the Annual Powow in Brooks Park, Downtown Newaygo, to be held on September 21-22nd 2019, is already underway.

The Newaygo County Museum and Heritage Center is a community history project whose mission is to collect, preserve, and share Newaygo County’s history.
