Archaeology Dig - Day 2

We visited a local farmer and he took us out to the corn field where he found many arrowheads over the years.  He let us carefully walk his field, looking for arrowheads and shards.  We found shards but no arrowheads.

Then we went back to the dig site to do some more sifting.  Another local farmer visited us at the site and told about the draining of Rice Lake.  Then we went back to the museum to look over the Native American and Rice Lake exhibits.  We ended the day discussing the projects they will make for Friday afternoon's Archaeology Fair.  It was a great day!
