Help Wanted! Y.A.C. Grant Provides Opportunity


Thanks to a grant from the Youth Advisory Council of the Fremont Area Community Foundation, we are looking to fill a part-time, temporary position to develop and pilot a Public History Studies Program.

The Public History Studies Program will be geared toward giving Newaygo County High School students, interested in history careers, first-hand experience in the various facets of our mission to collect, preserve, and share Newaygo County's history through time spent with staff and volunteer mentors at the Museum and Heritage Center.

The Newaygo County Museum and Heritage Center is a community history project whose mission is to collect, preserve, and share Newaygo County’s history.
